AfroYap (Public Beta)

1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to AfroYap ("AfroYap," "we," "our," or "us"), operated by Muhammed Jatta in Colorado, United States.
By creating an account or using AfroYap, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
AfroYap is currently offered as a Public Beta, and features may change, be modified, or discontinued at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use AfroYap.
By using the platform, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
3. Accounts
Only one account per person is permitted.
Usernames may be changed once every 30 days.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
We reserve the right to remove inactive accounts at our discretion.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content & License
You retain ownership of the content you post, including Yaps, comments, images, and other materials.
By posting content on AfroYap, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform, promote AfroYap using publicly shared content, and reproduce, distribute, and showcase content in marketing or platform-related materials.
We reserve the right to remove or restrict any content at our discretion.
5. Community Rules
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Hate speech
- Harassment
- Impersonation
- Spam
- Selling unauthorized goods or services
- Explicit adult content
- Encouraging violence
- Doxxing (sharing private personal information)
Violation may result in suspension or termination.
6. Moderation & Enforcement
AfroYap may take enforcement action including content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
Users who are suspended may submit an appeal for review.
Community moderators may issue suspensions but do not have authority to permanently ban users.
Final ban authority remains with platform administration.
7. Virtual Currency ("Gold")
AfroYap includes a virtual currency system known as "Gold."
Gold may be earned or purchased.
Gold is a digital virtual currency intended for use within AfroYap only. Gold has no cash value outside the platform and cannot be redeemed for money.
Gold is non-transferable and non-refundable unless required by law.
We reserve the right to modify, adjust, reset, or revoke Gold balances and change economic rules, pricing, or reward structures at any time.
8. Purchases & Future Monetization
AfroYap may offer subscriptions, advertisements, paid digital features, tribe upgrades, and other premium functionality.
All purchases are subject to applicable policies at the time of purchase.
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, severe misconduct, or to protect community safety.
In severe cases, termination may occur without prior notice.
10. Beta Disclaimer
AfroYap is provided as a Public Beta platform.
We make no guarantees regarding continuous availability, error-free operation, feature stability, or data preservation.
Features may change or be removed at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
AfroYap is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user-generated content, disputes between users, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Use the platform at your own risk.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of AfroYap after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.
